Amsterdam artist Rimon creates satisfying balance between happiness & pain with her music
Europe has been breeding some exciting artists, & one of them is Rimon. If you heard of Jorja Smith & Mahalia, then you most likely will enjoy the sound of Rimon. Born in Eritrea and raised in Amsterdam, 23 year old Rimon is another exciting upcoming artist from Europe. Her inspiration from the Dutch underground music scene, and the trials she went through in her life speaks in her songs as she creates stories through her music and visuals. In her debut EP “BBYGIRL FOCU$”, she sets the atmosphere filled with different emotions, filled with sweetness & pain. Her lo-fi sound infused with neo-soul,hip-hop, and dancehall & other music elements can have you feeling nostalgic.
Rimon dropped out of high school at 17 but her story didn’t stop there. Rimon is the perfect role for women who are looking for inspiration for women empowerment and confidence, while still learning about themselves. Like many women in their 20s, Rimon has not blossomed into her full potential, but it is clear that she knows where she is headed.
